Delta Improves Maintenance Efficiencies With RFID
Delta Air Lines operates more than 5,000 flights daily across an extensive domestic and international network. Eight years ago, Delta began using RFID in its maintenance operations, tagging onboard aircraft equipment that must be managed for both presence and expiration date. This video provides an understanding of how Delta's RFID program has matured, and how it has deployed RFID to more efficiently manage more than 300,000 items on its fleet of 800-plus aircraft.
